I note however, that without some method of measuring SPL, you're just guessing at when to click your stopwatch. Better to record the impulse response then analyze the recording, IMHO, irrespective of you stimulate the SUT.
BTW, in SmaartLive 5.x, you can mouse a line on the impulse response plot and it will automatically calculated the decay slope and extrapolate the 60 dB decay time for you. Yet another good reason to save your stopwatch for track meets.
